Advancing the science of moisture control.
Tara Polymers, a manufacturer of Anti-Moisture Powder and Desiccant Masterbatch that pull the moisture from recycled and virgin PE and PP, so silver streaks, pinholes and bubbles stay out of your parts.
Performance
Our additives trap the moisture as the material heats, before it can turn to steam, so silver streaks, pinholes and bubbles stay out of the finished part.
Efficiency & Quality
Every batch is checked against its grade card, and it often removes the separate pre-drying step, saving time on the line.
Expertise
We specialise in moisture control for plastics, backed by an industrial group active since 1989.
A manufacturer in Jodhpur, supplying across India and overseas
Tara Polymers is a manufacturer of moisture-control additives for the plastics industry. Everything is made at our own facility in Jodhpur, Rajasthan: raw material checked, milled to size, surface-coated and packed here, then sent to recyclers and processors across India and to export markets.
That control is the point of doing it this way. It is what lets us tell a customer exactly what is in the bag, send a trial quantity before they commit, and keep the next batch behaving like the last one.
Read our storyYou cannot see the moisture. You only see what it does.
Recycled granules, fillers and even virgin resin pick up water from the air in storage. It rides into the barrel invisible. Then the heat turns it to steam, and steam always leaves a mark.

Silver streaks
Feathered splay marks dragged across the surface where trapped steam escaped the melt.

Pinholes
Tiny holes punched through film and thin walls, so the part fails on strength or barrier.

Bubbles and voids
Gas pockets inside the wall that quietly weaken mouldings, pipe and sheet.

Dull, rough finish
Lost gloss and an uneven surface, so the batch gets rejected on looks alone.
Three steps, often no drying
The desiccant does not dry the resin with heat, it binds the water chemically, right in the melt.
Add it with your resin
Blend Anti-Moisture Powder into the material, or drop Desiccant Masterbatch pellets into the hopper with your normal feed. No new equipment, and nothing changes in how you load the line.
It binds the water in the melt
As the barrel heats up, the desiccant reacts with the moisture and locks it inside the melt before it can turn to steam. This happens at your normal processing temperature, while the line is already running.
Clean melt, clean part
No steam means no splay, no pinholes and no voids. On most polyolefin lines it also means the pre-drying stage can come out of the process entirely.
Powder or pellet: same chemistry, your choice
Both lines do the same job. The difference is how they get into your process, and what that costs you.

Anti-Moisture Powder
Off-white high-activity powder, blended straight into the resin before it enters the line.
- Four grades matched to how wet your feed runs
- 1 kg pouches packed into 25 kg PP bags

Desiccant Masterbatch
The same active chemistry pelletised on a polyethylene carrier, dosed straight at the hopper.
- No dust and no special dosing equipment
- Feeds with your resin and melts alongside it
- Often removes the pre-drying step entirely
Where our desiccants run
On extrusion, moulding and blow-moulding lines for processors in India and overseas.
- Recycled granules
- Carry & shopping bags
- Garbage bags
- PP woven sacks
- Blown film
- HDPE pipes & fittings
- Houseware & furniture
- Injection & blow moulding
- Cables & wires
- Tarpaulins
- Jumbo bags
- And many more

Specialists in moisture control
One chemistry, done properly
Moisture control is our focus, not a sideline. That is why our grades hold their absorption batch after batch, even on variable recycled feed.
Powder or pellet
Both forms of the same chemistry, so you pick what suits your line, not whatever we happen to stock.
Checked before it ships
Every batch is checked against its grade card, so the material you approved is the material that keeps arriving.
Trial before you commit
Tell us the line and the defect you are fighting and we will send a trial quantity with dosing guidance.
Tell us your resin. We will match the grade.
Say what you run and the defect you are fighting. We will confirm the dose and send a trial sample.
